North Texas Sweet
The spot futures contracts for crude opened today at $81.98 for April contracts; that price is -$.11 from Wednesday's close of $82.09. The natural gas markets opened today at $4.51 for April contracts; that price is -$.04 from Wednesday's close of $4.55.
According to Platts' Inside FERC Gas Market the average price of spot gas delivered on
March 1 is Houston Ship Channel $4.77 per MMbtu and Waha Hub is $4.71.
