Lindsey MillerState Government Affairs Specialist
Lindsey Miller joined the Alliance team in late 2024 as preparations were underway for the 2025 Texas legislative session. Originally envisioned as a temporary role, Lindsey’s extraordinary effectiveness on behalf of the Alliance and its members quickly became apparent, as did the respect she commands throughout the Texas Capitol. Lindsey is well known and highly respected among members of the Texas House and Senate and their staffs, and she is widely regarded as an expert in crafting and steering oil and gas legislation toward the best possible outcomes. Her effectiveness is rooted in years of oil and gas advocacy experience in Austin. Her leadership roles in government affairs for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association (TIPRO) refined her expertise in regulatory compliance and complex policy issues. At Anadarko, she oversaw Texas and Colorado assets with a focus on Permian Basin production and midstream matters. At TIPRO, she managed regulatory projects involving hydraulic fracturing preemption, seismicity regulations, gas gathering, and water reuse. Lindsey’s experience working for elected officials in both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate has given her a deep understanding of legislative procedures and processes. She maintains strong bipartisan relationships and a solid foundation in the oil and gas policy arena. A native of Longview, Lindsey now resides in Austin with her husband and their two sons, Finley and Townes. Simply put, Lindsey is a top-tier legislative and regulatory government affairs specialist, and the Alliance is fortunate to have her as a permanent member of its Austin team. Back to Officers/Staff |
